Metroid is very important to me as a person, as it always inspired me as an artist, gave me a lot of amazing opportunities in the community and allowed me to meet lots of fantastic people

And I'm now glad to be managing a small french Metroid community as well :D

It is fun looking back at this though! As difficult and painful these lessons were back then, I am thankful I went through them as it helped me develop the way I observe things and improve as an artist

These are from... I don't even want to think about how old this is now lol, but they're a few examples of what we did during figure drawing courses :)

It's really weird being an artist though, because even if some of these are a bit horny, I don't necessarily see them that way when I make them

I had many figure drawing lessons and we learn to see the human body as an object like any other and dissociate from that side of things

Working on anatomy has been very interesting, it's not an easy task to memorize all the shapes of the human body and they obviously differ depending of the person's build, the angle, etc...

But I'm starting to get a better idea of how the upper body works now :)
