The most similar to eco-fascism is the sustainable regrowth movement claiming that human population must be reduced to keep our living standards while not destroying the planet. This is really niche and not really a society trend.

I fail to remember ecofascism in The Parable of the Sower. It's plain old libertarian, non-interventionist capitalism gone rogue.
