I’m glad there are now better “rules” around it. My first paper on “pollution of the earth’s orbital environment” was researched back in 1993 with microfiche. The laws that actually govern space are maritime and old. I haven’t followed up - I’m an airline pilot now. I follow out of fascination now!

The sheer number of satellites currently in orbit is a little startling…. But yes, limiting debris is the objective!
