For #WorldBookDay we’ll be showing primary school kids how make graphic novels by showing them our creative process.

We’re posting our process making the #Wilomina graphic novel every day on Insta & TikTok. First time doing daily reels, it’s hard work!

The cover of LOKI: A Bad God's Guide to Causing Chaos by me. It's bright yellow and covered in doodles. The cover design has two horns on it to represent a viking helmet but not a REAL one as those didn't have horns - the popular conception of a viking helmet, which I believe Loki invented to piss off historians and archeologists.

A picture of my Loki character in his god form (loosely based on a stone carving of Loki but in a sailor suit to make it gay) and his child form, wearing an L t shirt and shorts. Both Lokis have spiky black hair but the adult one also has horns.

My illustration of Freyja, goddess of Love and War, wearing Brisingamen, her necklace which has a backstory too salacious for a children's book. She has a shaved undercut and a Kara Thrace from Battlestar Galactica style outfit with layered vests and combat trousers. She has big arm muscles. The labels read "Godly glow dimmed to walk among the mortals" and "Still beautiful enough to make mortals sigh though"

I don't usually do this but I'm going to say on this occasion...my books! Because I'll be doing events in schools for world book day, talking about norse myths, reading for pleasure, comics and mischief! Mostly this one featuring Freyja, goddess of Love and War #KidsBooksFriday #NorseMyths
