I fucken love being in my 30s but I also spent too much time thinking I wouldn’t make it this far and then spending the first few years speed running my 20s. But yea the life experience and perspective is good for informing about how to approach things out of one’s control better

thats definitely common, and firmly sits in the 'baggage' section. i think no matter what happened before there will always be regrets of not doing more / differently.. but we can only work with what we have and do better.. how you 'waste' your time is also an important part of being alive

I mean this is what I was up to till I started drawing again which is a much healthier hobby for me

Idk, I saw some stuff on my TL about ‘peaking’ in your 30s but 30s normally is just The Beginning for many people. You don’t lose your skills and you, given the opportunity (self mandated, or vocationally), can keep sharpening your tools until something else gets in the way.

I think in your 30s you can easier apply perspective and life experience and can really start to master, develop and understand skills you have and strengthen them, in the right environments. A big downside of getting this far however is ending up here carrying a lot of baggage and responsibility
