SUIKODEN ANIME ANNOUNCED

Panel 1 Polly and Gwen are hanging out. This simply will not do. Olivia rushes onto the scene with a mischievous plan to disrupt their peace. Olivia: GWEN! GWEN! I have a secret to tell you. Panel 2 Gwen leans in to hear Olivia's mysterious secret. Surely this will be something earth shattering. Olivia: My sister thinks you're cool and I do too. Panel 3 Polly has had enough of this nonsense. Reaching deep down in her soul, she comes up with a devastating name to call Olivia in order to banish her from this realm. Polly: Stop bothering us, fart breath. Olivia: WHAHAHA! Olivia exits. But the deed is done. The seeds of discord have been sown. Panel 4 Gwen: I think you and Olivia are pretty great. Polly: Huh? What did she say to you? Gwen: Can't tell, it's a secret.

Panel 1 Gustopher and Olivia are excited for New Year's Eve. Gustopher: My dad said I can stay up for New Year's Eve! Olivia: My mom said I can too! Panel 2 Gustopher holds up a bowl of chips that come in various colors. They're the best chips you will ever eat but you will never see them in a store. The only time you will ever find them are at one out of every seven parties you go to and you will never know who brought them. Gustopher: I'm going to try all the snacks! Olivia: I'm going to shout louder than anyone! Panel 3 Gustopher and Olivia: THIS WILL BE THE BEST NIGHT EVER! Panel 4 Time has passed and Gustopher and Olivia have passed out from exhaustion. They have spent all their energy being excited for New Year's Eve that they didn't save any to actually stay awake. Their parents have wrapped them in blankets to make sure they're extra cozy. Ember has snuck onto the couch between them and is digging through the snack bowl. The Adults: THREE... TWO... ONE... HAPPY NEW YEAR! Ember: My snack! Ember proceeds to eat what remains of the snacks and stays up for an additional three hours.

Panel 1 Daryl, the ever attentive father, has noticed that his daughter hasn't been around all day. Now that he needs someone to take out the garbage, he must investigate. Daryl: Seth, where's Hannah? Seth: Playing at a friend's house. Panel 2 Daryl: Why don't they play here? Seth: One of her friends got a ping pong table. Panel 3 Daryl becomes suspiciously quiet as he turns to his phone. The quiet being suspicious is an impressive feat for an individual who is quiet the vast majority of the time. Panel 4 Daryl: I ordered a ping pong table. Seth: DARYL! Daryl: And an air hockey table. Seth: It's not a competition.

Table Time - Gator Days

Panel 1 Olivia and Gustopher are backstage in an auditorium. Olivia looks a little nervous but Gustopher is full of confidence. Olivia: Your part is coming up. Are you nervous? Gustopher: Nah, it's an easy short scene. Anyone can do it. Panel 2 Out in the audience, the families of the cast are watching the play. August is thinking to himself. August: I can't believe my son is in a play. I could never be brave enough to do this. Panel 3 The stage is shown. Hannah is carefully walking into the scene with a cane in hand. She was cast as the lead and has spent uncountable hours perfecting her grumpy face with her Papa. Gustopher has also entered the scene and is lighting the street lamps with a piece of cardboard representing fire. It was noted to the audience in the program that no actual fire would be used in tonight's performance. A relief to anyone who remembers the incident of 1995. Panel 4 Back to the audience, August looks up at the stage in amazement. He's amazed at how fast his son is growing. He's amazed at all the different things his son is able to do. Most of all, he's amazed at how his son is becoming his own person. He's doing things that August himself would have never thought to try. He has the potential to do so many things and he's already putting himself out there and doing them. One more thought forms in August's head. August: I'm so proud of him.

Christmas Play - Gator Days

Panel 1 Stuart is at the front door of August's home. He has brought forms that that need to be filled out before the end of the year. What exactly are these forms for? I don't know. I don't think Stuart knows. No one even knows where they come from. Stuart: Sorry to bother you at home, big man. I appreciate your help. August: It's no problem Panel 2 Gustopher is playing a video game while Mewbert rests next to him. He saw the unfamiliar visitor wants to know what that was all about. Gustopher: Who was that? August: My boss. He was dropping off some forms. Panel 3 Gustopher: YOUR BOSS? But you're bigger than him. August: Being bigger doesn't mean I'm in charge. Gustopher is perplexed by this situation. Surely his father, one of the largest individuals he's known, could simply arm wrestle all the others in the office and claim domination. Panel 4 Gustopher: So he's older? August: I think I'm a little older. Gustopher: How do adults decide who is in charge? August: With money. The world once again makes less sense. Once he believes he's gained a level of understanding about how the systems of the world works, his view is shattered yet again. This is a trend that will continue through out the rest of Gustopher's life.

The Boss - Gator Days

Panel 1 August is talking to a co-worker while getting coffee. His cup has a graphic that shows the face of a person who tired of people in general and the words "WAKE UP JUICE". In the background is an obscured poster that says "WERE FAMILY - WE WORK SMARTER AND HARDER". Co-worker: Hey, August. How do you like being back in the office? August: It's okay. Panel 2 August: Except I was more productive working remotely. The commute is terrible. I miss my kid. I miss my cat. Panel 3 The co-worker stares blankly ahead with a stern expression. In her eyes is the understanding of a million sorrows and a desire to destroy the system. In the background is a jug of a mysterious liquid that is labelled "SOME % MILK probably". Panel 4 Co-worker: It sucks. Want to see some cute cat videos? August: Yes. The co-worker holds up her up the phone that has a video depicting two cats touching a fish. The video is called "Cats touch fish" with a lopsided emoji that is crying from laughter. Below the video is the comment "LOL" which was likely written by someone who did not actually laugh out loud.

It's way better later on when Weasel and Baboon become friends and the Red Guy becomes the main antagonist. It's at the that point where Weasel sheds off his Perfect image and he starts to gets hit with as much slapstick as Baboon does. It's also funny that Baboon ends up replacing Lulabelle.
