Yesterday, my kid said they needed a Halloween costume. In 24 hrs, we thrifted a zombie costume, ripped/painted it, painted accessories, & I crocheted a brain (pattern: nerdifacts.blogspot.com/2013/06/croc...) & a disembodied hand (no pattern, based it on a picture I saw) phew!

I got asked to crochet a pair of ears that could attach to any pair of headphones, regardless of size. These are my first attempt. No pattern, just vibes lol. It was fun to try something new; in future, I know a few things I'd do differently, but I like them for what they are.

I love getting handmade gifts ❤️ I feel lucky that someone would spend their time crocheting me this. (It's a lip balm holder, btw.) That's why I like being crafty myself, I want to be able to give smthg I've made; it's like giving them a part of myself.

Microcosmos is a twelve-meter grasshopper with dazzling eyes, purple-hued wings, lights along its body, and moving limbs. It was made by Planète Vapeur and it walked through city centre. Acrobats hang from its front legs while violinists sit on its back segments.
