Lots of fine motor opportunities this afternoon while we are making our gifts. Lots of tiny fingers busy at work!

We had some exciting letters arrive in 2JE today! Before we opened them we thought about who they could be from and what they might say... we spotted lots of similarities between the different letters! #SAPSLLC #SAPSACL

We have been practicing measuring capacity in the mud kitchen, making sure that we accurately read how many ml each container can hold. #SAPSACL #SAPSMN

A recipe for success! Year 2 identified key features of a recipe, planned and wrote their own, peer-assessed each other’s writing, and finally made (and tasted!) their sweet potato pancakes📝🗣️🧑‍🍳🥞

Year 2 celebrated Shwmae day today! / Mae Blywddyn 2 wedi dathlu Diwrnod Shwmae! We enjoyed our hunt for shwmae signs around the school and decorating our class floor book🔍🕵🏽🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

We are learning about inspirational black artists. We are exploring beat, tempo, the instruments used to create the music and a variety of genres. 🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵#SAPSEA

We have been enjoying taking care of the new born babies and making sure they are being loved & cared for. #SAPSHCI

We loved spending some time in the allotment with @sapsfeo.bsky.social. We planted some garlic and onions. We even got to choose something to harvest and try! Yum #SAPSHCI

We have been using the block play to explore our height, using our shadows to see how accurate we have been. We then measured and labelled our towers so we could compare! #SAPSACL #SAPSMN
