The other thieves looked at me in surprise.

The men that read her the suicide note blamed her for her mother’s apparent suicide. They blamed her for simply being a kid.

I was furious.
I was angry beyond belief.

This story broke my heart. But what broke my heart even further was how she found out.
Through a suicide note. Or what was presumed. Though I could tell it was a fake.

She never knew her father, so she was adopted by someone close to her parents.
Just like I was.

I didn’t want to make the talking cat miss something important, so I just went along with them.
This was when I found out about the girl’s past. Her name is Futaba Sakura, and she had lost her mother in what appeared to be a suicide.
