I love these little moments where Jack isn’t scowling or smirking,

out on by virtue of being dead, such as the existence of the shimmer aliens. Jack is the first and only one of them to point out the line in the play about “no more competition”,

Jack is so charming. I was watching the first episode of season four again and thinking about how even among the other newbies his desire to compete is uniquely strong. This scene offers an example of that; Everyone else points out odd things they noticed about the play that they missed —>

If you think about it. Any time someone trusts Cabby it makes their entire life better,

They are both so special. It would be within Cabby’s rights to not want to befriend Test Tube anymore and objectively that would be better for Cabby mentally but the potential they have is just impossible to let go of,

The amount of times Cabby and Test Tube talk about liking each other in the show is small without context but made significant when compared to literally anyone else in Invitational. “Ooh, I like this one” “Look I like you” “I liked you” It’s really sickening,
