POWDER KEG UK ABOUT TO BLOW UP AS BRITAIN STANDS ON THE BRINK OF THE WHOLE NATION DESCENDING INTO CIVIL WAR

by Our Apocalypse Staff
HELENA HANDCART

THE entire country has turned into a tinderbox, one spark and the whole thing could turn into a raging inferno of hatred and violence. All it needs is one little push - preferably from us - and this once peaceful island will explode.
It may not take much, maybe an article with some badly researched facts, maybe some exaggerated and provocative hyperbole, and before we know it there'll be blood on the streets, and flames too, as millions of furious citizens attack each other, the police, and the emergency services,
not to
mention the armed forces should they tragically be called in to deal with the hate-filled mob rampaging through our cities, towns and villages, armed with burning torches and pitchforks, calling for justice, free speech and the immediate death of everyone they don't like. (Top journalism, Ed).
Make no mistake, if Britain even exists by next week, we will run this piece again until someone sparks the tinderbox on the brink of the powderkeg that... (cont. for entire summer).

No one sums up the utter shamelessness of the British press and the ugly politics of Farage quite like Private Eye.

They never even mention it.

A Census is a count of everyone residing in a country on the Census day regardless of their status. If this happens it will not be a Census. You're doomed USA.

The next part of the plan to steal the midterms and/or the 2028 election - an attempt to do a mid-decade census to take seats and electoral votes away from blue states. I knew this was coming.

Headline and first 2 paragraphs

Migrants can use rights laws to evade deportation

Loopholes could undermine treaty with France
Matt Dathan Home Affairs Editor

Small boat migrants will be able to frustrate attempts to deport them to France under Sir Keir Starmer's returns deal by exploiting human rights laws, according to the treaty's terms.
Under the terms of the agreement with France, migrants will be ineligible for deportation if they have outstanding human rights claims or other legal challenges or claim they are under 18.
These are among potential loopholes that threaten to undermine Labour's attempt to end Channel crossings. The treaty also gives France and other European Union member states an effective veto over which individuals are returned.

Just the supposed β€˜paper of record’ bemoaning the fact that asylum seekers have *human* rights and may be able to enforce them. Accompanied - ultra cynically - by a photo of Human Rights lawyer, Amal Clooney, at a glamorous fundraiser. What a sly and deeply unpleasant rag The Times now is.

Guess who the tax system is really supporting In this second article on wealth accumulation, we explain who our tax system really supports

The UK government gives the richest 20% around Β£67 billion a year in tax breaks.
That’s more than double the entire Universal Credit budget.

It’s not a bug – it’s the system working as designed.

I prosecute and defend the most serious sexual offences in our courts.

The overwhelming majority of offenders are British-born. Overwhelmingly the victim is someone known to them, either a partner or relative.

Anybody purporting to care about protecting women might start there.

There are a lot of idiots enraged by this misleading Times headline.

The article itself - yes, the exact same one - points out that:

A) In any typical year, about 50 independent schools close

B) More independent schools opened than shut, so the overall number went up.

But that's far too nuanced.

Right to buy in England β€˜fuelled housing crisis and cost taxpayers Β£200bn’ Common Wealth report calls discounted sales of council homes one of the β€˜largest giveaways in UK history’

Successive governments have watched as Right to Buy hollowed out council housing stock, fuelling chronic shortages and deepening inequality. We cannot wait any longer: end Right to Buy, urgently reinvest in affordable, social homes fit for the future, and secure stability for ourΒ communities.

Former Tory MP Adam Holloway has defected to Reform. As someone who 'mistakenly' overclaimed Β£1,000 on expenses, defended an MP who sexually assaulted a 15 year old and tried to influence a judge over another MP charged with sexual assault, he should fit in perfectly.

REFORM UK VS REALITY
Farage's party has started to sound bitter
The Guardian

Nigel Farage's great appeal to his followers used to be the fact that he liked a drink and a laugh; that he was enjoying himself. But lately his party has begun to sound bitter, nihilistic, oddly hysterical.
Claiming that Britain is on the verge of societal collapse plays well on X, but perhaps less well in daylight.
Britain has big problems, many of them deep seated.
But it's still a country where people wash their cars in suburban driveways on a Sunday, not a post-apocalyptic wasteland.
There's undeniably a market for politicians wallowing angrily in dreams of a better yesterday. But I suspect there's still a bigger one waiting to catch sight of a better tomorrow.

The other day, I visited an exhibition that left me speechless.
It shows women who lost their sons and husbands in the war.

I’m sharing part of it with a poem that played during the video.
I added English subtitles. For you.

Please watch. And share. So others can see too.
