Anyway, I blame daylight savings

I'm mostly off-kilter bc it's super rainy out while I gotta go grab groceries, and I'm doing it later in the day than I'd like, upsetting my own routine. I feel like I need to rush to get everything I need done

but I did get to play video games for hours uninterrupted. so that's really nice

on one hand I am really happy that I got to spend some extra time away from work just to relax bc oh my god did I need it after having to stay until 3am for a work thing

on the other, I already feel keyed up bc I feel like I didn't get enough done and I'm already anticipating the chaos of returning

me: ahhh it's been nice relaxing on my days off. nothing planned but just getting to have a nice break from it all. I'm sure my team is managing well without me 🙂

We get “comp time,” which is basically just. Extra hours that we can theoretically use as PTO. Which isn’t even time and a half :( but it’s something.
Oh and there was a $250 incentive. And they provided dinner. So it wasn’t abysmal but I’m still CRANKY I was there from 5pm!! 😭

I’ll admit it’s a tad complicated bc of gov stuff but. ygeah, some ppl got to leave earlier, around midnight, and I wasn’t lucky. my office opened a couple hours later to try and make up for it, but we still had to go to work… the donuts they brought in can’t help, I need my 8 hours so bad 😴

luckily all the fraudulent charges were declined but I had to essentially order three replacement cards over the course of a month and I've had this intense cloud of paranoia. I'm even paranoid to activate this one bc of it, it sucks!!! where are you, fucker

so after some time and monitoring, someone's officially been jacking my mail and trying to use the credit card replacements that I've been ordering through regular mail to try and buy shit, I feel less crazy now and more angry
