I thankfully only lost a few messages but I definitely panicked because I just meant to use line on my iPad the same as my laptop… not in place of my phone, so when my phone said I had to delete the account I panicked lol thankfully i just had to retransfer to my phone but… lesson learned.

Note to self: do not add L*NE to your iPad thinking it’s the same as adding the app on your laptop. You will be left with nothing but confusion and disappointment and trying to get the account back on your phone 🤪

This always happens for the birthday pulls for the ZOOL members because they don’t have many SRs and the birthday pulls are all SR and above and just of the birthday boy lol

Yeah, I knew that Inoue also directed the Slam Dunk movie and it's an absolute masterpiece. I'm still impressed that the movie was so perfect that it could be viewed by people who'd never heard of the series and also long-time fans

That man is an absolute genius and deserves all the praise.

I hate how N*tflix documentaries are interesting and then somewhere towards the end there's something that's always rage-inducing.

I've mentioned this before and I'm sure I'll mention it again in the future, but I always get nervous rewatching older series I've worked on because I'm worried about my older translations... and it always feels nice when they're actually okay 😅

It’s funny because I requested to work on Salad Bowl just from the pv but didn’t look too deep into the details until later and when I found out both series had the same author, so much made sense lol in the best way.

Creators will always know their material the best. Full stop. But adapting manga/ln to anime is a completely different skill set for various reasons. Hirasaka's writing is very clear and well-written... which is why he worked amazingly as the anime screenwriter/series comp.

Then I remembered that I found that out about "A Salad Bowl of Eccentrics," too.

On one hand, I think the creator would be an excellent person to actually do the scriptwriting/series comp for their anime adaptations but I can also see it end up being absolutely awful, too⬇️

In my ongoing rewatch of "A Sister's All You Need." I was thinking how neatly everything got conveyed in the anime, even if some scenes from the LN were shortened or edited, so I got curious to who the scriptwriter/series comp was and... it's Hirasaka Yomi, the creator lol ⬇️

And yeah that’s right… I remember seeing something about Salad Bowl getting localized but apparently banished it from my memory when I found out it was Novelous 😔

I translated both “A Sister’s All You Need.” And “A Salad Bowl of Eccentrics” via anime and I love both series lol

Going in blind on the first one was definitely an experience lmao but I grew to love it so much despite the things Kanikou made me write lol

My only regret about “A Sister’s All You Need.” is the fact that it’s so hard to recommend to friends lol the first 5 minutes of episode one and the stuff that constantly come out of Kanikou’s mouth can be very jarring lol

I don’t usually work on light novels but if the opportunity ever came up to translate Hirasaka Yomi series like “A Salad Bowl of Eccentrics” or “A Sister’s All You Need” I would not hesitate. I unironically love both of those series lol

The US Audible store has some Gagaga Bunko LNs surprisingly so I’ve been listening to “A Sister’s All You Need” and it reminds me that I love Hirasaka Yomi’s series but my god it’s so raunchy lol but the writing is so good…

Also I find myself auto translating as I listen lol

Finally trying to finish up “OVERTAKE!” (Just got busy so it was on pause) but this is just making me want to rewatch i7 again lol

There are so many good similarities between the 2 series but no one would ever believe me unless you’ve seen both 😆

Man, GNOSIA may be one of my favorite anime series this season.

It’s been so long since I’ve been genuinely surprised about what happens in an anime series just because I consume so much anime each year 😆
