yea just hand painting, every once in awhile I use a pre-made material just to see what it looks like but I use alot of gradient layers as a base and then paint the details on top of that. also takes a bit of time unwrapping the models since the pixels sometimes don't like to line up on the seams

Back on my weapon making grind, got another small SMG (UZI inspired) for my low poly weapons. It looks like we might double the amount of weapons. Will post the textured version soon. Will try to post more as job situation is secure atm #gamedev #indiedev #modeling #weapon #lowpoly

thanks for the tip, I didn't know about the godot functionality. I got it working into Unity a few days ago and it makes everything go much faster!

I've been knee deep into TrenchBroom, will probably post an annoying amount about how fun and simple the tool is once you get it up and running to be used in unity. its just great being able to block out a map in like 30 mins. I will get back to modeling characters soon! #indiedev #gamedev

This was just a texture change to the brain Drone Enemy but it matches the newer models/textures much better. all the enemies are now at 256x256 textures, except for larger boss models at 512 #indiedev #gamedev #blender #lowpoly #CharacterRedesign #LowPolyArt

Just reduced the poly count on the ghoul character by half (left is the newest 829polys) might have to fix up the texture a tad but its in a good place also added a color to the jacket to better identify the enemy at a distance #indiedev #gamedev #blender #lowpoly #CharacterRedesign #LowPolyArt
