I just love that I can ride my bike to the mall, park it in a massive bike garage, grab some electronic peripherals, some gyros, and ride back home in about an hour.

The freedom of movement is rejuvenating.

I got one of those once because my shoes didn't fit right and I walked like 12 miles in a day (I have wide feet, so my big toe was pressed tight to the top of my shoe). It hurt like a bitch. 🫠

trying not to be too mean to myself because i do want to enjoy american trash before before we leave... but i'm also looking forward to trying to get back to a healthier eating and living lifestyle after we move. i'd like to fit into clothes again. lmao

for what it's worth, these are the exact frustrations i've felt since covid too. not sure if it's because i got it at lest twice or not, but i struggle with the exact same things to a degree that i have asked myself wtf is wrong to me at least once a week.

I agree with this. I have felt this way for a long time. I have a bit of envy for people that grew up with some sort relationship to their history. The closest I could have had to that was to my Slovak roots, but I was too young to enjoy the celebration my grand aunt/uncle had for the culture.
