General Rules 1. The Free & Bonus Spaces can be used once each per board to replace a prompt. 2. You may combine as many prompts as you like, but each submission can be used to fill in no more than two spaces. 3. You can go for bingo on every board; you don't have to limit yourself to using one. 4. You may use this event to crosspost your works for other events, like Fantasy JVW, Vampire JVW, etc. 5. Absolutely no AI. Any contributor found to be using generative AI will have all of their works removed from the event.

Challenger Rules 1. The Free & Bonus Spaces can be used once each per board to replace a prompt. 2. While you may take inspiration from other prompts, each submission can only be used to fill in one space. 3. You can go for bingo on every board; you don't have to limit yourself to using one. 4. You may use this event to crosspost your works for other events, like Fantasy JVW, Vampire JVW, etc. However, you can only crosspost one work per 2 bingos (2 crossposts per board). 5. Absolutely no AI. Any contributor found to be using generative AI will have all of their works removed from the event. 6. Writer submissions must be at least 800 words. Artist submissions must be more than a sketch; at least fully lined or flat colours.

I Got Bingo! but what does that mean? All bingo winners will be tagged in a general victors thread on Bluesky and/or Tumblr alongside a small shoutout for one of the pieces they made for the event. (General players can get up to 2 shoutouts per board, Challengers can get up to 4.) I Got Blackout! what do i get this time? Both General and Challenger players will have a spot in a special blackout winners thread on Bluesky and/or Tumblr, and once the event closes, your names will be included in a commemorative post for all of the victors, which will be pinned to the event's profile. Challengers will also receive a free companion piece to at least one of their submissions for the event, lovingly crafted by one of the volunteers on board! (Artists will receive a fic, writers will receive art.) More rewards are subject to be added depending on the success of the event. We cant wait to see what you create!

Good question!

Per card, you can use the free space once and the bonus space once. Meaning that you can use them to replace a maximum of two prompts on the main board.

You can also choose to combine them to replace one prompt, if you'd like, or to fill them on their own without replacing anything.

All contributions must centre around Jayce and Viktor interacting in fantastical or supernatural settings, but the boys don't have to be supernatural beings themselves. (Ex: Demon Hunters, Area 51 Scientists, or Two Guys Surviving The Zombie Apocalypse AUs are all totally acceptable)

As of posting, there are a whopping 33 Arcane events coming up for the rest of the year, over half of which are Jayce, Viktor, or JayVik-centric; and there are surely more to come. We wanted to make an event that evokes the same creative spirit as a ship week, without the pressure or time constraints. Is this event NSFW only? While this event is 18+, the content you create does not have to be NSFW. Is this event Dead Dove friendly? In short: yes! The genres of horror and fantasy have always been used to explore concepts that would be considered Dead Dove nowadays, and Mythic JayVik Week is no different. Properly tag your content and we will accept your dead doves.

Combine or even repeat prompts to your heart's content. How closely do I have to follow the prompts? The prompts are there to inspire you. If your plot ends up wildly off course, that's okay! Tag your content and be free. Can I submit contributions with VikJayce? All timelines and all possibilities of Jayce and Viktor are allowed. What if I'm not a fic writer or a digital artist? Any creative work can be submitted to this event as a prompt fill. This includes but is not limited to cosplay, embroidery, sculptures, and paintings. If you made it, you can submit it.
