We decided to consciously forgo the traditional guestbook at the COAL FACE exhibition in lieu of a giant bar of Pit Head Baths soap. If you visit, please write a comment or two and hoy it into the soap. ☺️

Coal Face Study Day: Photographing the Coal Face | Sunderland Culture Book tickets for Photographing the Coal Face, a study day focussing on the photographic work in Coal Face, at Sunderland Museum & Winter Gardens.

If you're interested in photography, there's also a brilliant, free Q&A panel on 'Photographing the Coal Face' between @martintype.bsky.social & @narbiprice.bsky.social which takes place on the same day:

No, really this time...will be getting rid of my account at 'the other place which was once class' in the not too distant. Bear with me while I figure this one out. (gonna mostly just be posting photos)

They reformulated the emulsion a few times over the years, I think the type 2 came in late 90s, and then they renamed it 64T with further changes around 2006ish. All different characteristics to them!

It's my No.1 film for night photography - was gutted when Fuji discontinued it. I absolutely love the way it renders things at night. Managing to maintain a decent supply but yes, let me know if you do decide to part with it. Most of my colour stuff here is T64: martintype.co.uk/photography/...

If you ever get into serious trouble and need to offload any of that RTP...I'm always on the lookout for it.
