I checked the traffic stats after the Steam Winter Sale ended. Bluesky traffic exceeded Twitter traffic by a lot.

I had to dig further into this and this entire tumblr thread was back IN MAY of 2025. No they didn't add bots to your server IF they WERE in your server Clyde would show the actual bot HANDLE i.e. "bullshit#6969" in the ban message, NOT the ID, i.e. you banned a bot outside the server through its ID

I also don't quite understand why that system appears to be its own thing rather than being part of the labelers (that we can then control)? I feel that goes counter to Bluesky's argument that we have control over the algorithms used for our timeline.

What is lacking for me now is that there's (to my knowledge) no way to turn off or control your "show more replies" moderation. In one particular instance I noticed where someone posted a fake AI generated image, all the posts pointing out it was fake were hidden.

The For You feed is going to be down while I'm upgrading the CPU from AMD 7900 (12 core) to AMD 9950X3D (16 core).

This should increase how many users it can serve by ~50%-100%.

If all goes well it should be back up in an hour or two.

When I started taking bsky seriously, I had about 5K followers here compared to my then 30K on twt, and despite still having "less" here by comparison, I get consistently more commissions, interest, and continued support here than on twt, with far less punishment for marketing myself. (+)

It's kinda heartbreaking to see so many artists being like "can I post about OCs and not just fanart?", "can I talk about other stuff?", "can I post often?" because the other hellsite literally punished you for doing...normal things you do as an artist - as a person, even.
