Yeah exactly how I feel about it. If you asked me the best game in the trilogy I’d say SC, but conceptually and from its importance for the later games 3rd just shoots up in my favorability.

Easily my favorite of the trilogy too. SC is the best game objectively but 3rd is just something else in terms of character development and Kevin is a top tier protagonist, it‘s just hard to compete with Bestelle

Crippled and barely working as they may be, my New Class VII endgame builds from CS3 do hold up in early CS4. There is a level of functionality to them, even without the right MQ and Quartz in general.

Like, I play normally and then every hour or two when I‘m about to progress the story I look into the guide to see whether I got everything I need or need to pick anything up I missed

I usually just use the guides as a checklist and made regular back up saves a habit. Fortunately the games are very transparent about the progression points. Talking to all NPCs anyway and using Detection quartz does most of the work by itself.

Currently happy that CS3 finally ramped up the difficulty for ng nightmare runs. Bosses healing themselves and improved ai make for a much more engaging mid-game. Tho I believe I‘ll hit the threshold at the end of act 3 and start wrecking bosses again, but that‘s fine I love the powerfantasy

Der Tokyo Ghoul anime ist eine Beleidigung. Staffel 2 geht in eine ganz andere Richtung als der Manga und wird richtig schlecht. Dann switchen sie plötzlich zurück zum Manga und nichts macht mehr Sinn.

Despite my mixed feelings for the second half and Rean eliminating any semblance of a fair fight (The final bosses almost never got a turn in and the epilogue dungeon felt like a slog) this game was more than well worth it for the story, especially its final reveals and twists. Piece of art.

From what I could gather it‘s due to map sizes and added side content. It‘s probably great for fans but I don‘t know how beneficial it is for newcomers given how "slow" setup games like FC tend to be. Added voice acting probably also adds to playtime since it takes longer than simply reading.
