As it turns out, Texas is one of the queerest states in the country. Only California has more LGBTQ+ identifying residents. Texas is home to more queer people than all the queer people in Canada.

As Gov. Abbott and others try to marginalize and erase anyone who isn't a cis white man in Texas, it's important to remember just how diverse and vibrant the state and its people really are.

Texas needs more of this. Texans deserve more of this.
