I stick it up when I see something I think will make a good photo, fire off a couple quick shots, and then put it away so I, and those behind me, can enjoy the damn show!

When they played "Every Day is Halloween," the stage disappeared and you were pretty much left having to watch the band on the person in front of you's phone. This did not lead to the maximum enjoyment level possible for this experience.
