I'm guessing the problem might be that replying to the requester in a thread would result in notifications to all authors in the entire thread? so even though the requester opt-in for the bot's reply, it could still be a spam to other people?

BTW, you might need to refresh the page a few times in case the browser still uses the old version from the cache.

Okay, so there were a few alternatives to replying to the post of interest. First, you could quote

1.) The per-account rate limit has been changed from once every 15 minute to 4 times every hour.

It probably needs a few seconds for the reply to show up because the app doesn't use websocket for DMs, and it seems to only fetch for new messages roughly every 4 second.

(2) Bluesky imposes rate limit on DMs, so I have to set a per-account cd of 15 minutes.
