Hey remember when Obama's pastor said that America had done some bad stuff and made the world a more dangerous place and Fox News and the GOP screamed that Obama needed to be impeached or jailed or something?

Food stamps, by comparison, are a party. You can't spend WIC on a frozen dinner or a lobster at the fish counter. I don't even think you can buy spices or seasoning with it. Just one-pound sacks of rice and cans of vegetables and boring sadness.

WIC is the cleanest, leanest, most boring program in the whole social safety net. A pregnant lady has to watch a certain number of videos or something about nutrition, and then she gets a monthly disbursement of money for Puritanical healthy groceries. When her baby is born, formula.

And trust me, there is no "waste, fraud and abuse" with WIC. You can't get junk food with WIC. You can get formula, and certain sized packages of boring healthy food like brown rice and cans of tuna and gallons of milk for pregnant and breastfeeding moms.
