Just so everyone is clear: the valve here releases pressure that would otherwise build on her leadership from within her party.
She would rather lose the country than her own job.
Now we can confirm what we’ve always known: this is a separatist government.

My dad, 85 years old, suffering from the effects of a 2 year struggle with cancer, and chief of surgery at the Chinook Regional Hospital for decades, was moved from an already overcrowded space to an “overcapacity room” while he recovers from a stomach bleed and pneumonia. This is the room. 🧵🧵🧵

“I will never pander to separatists.”
Ok, I’m in.
The best way to send Danielle Smith packing is to send the NDP to the legislature. And while the best way to do that is to vote them in, they need our support in our time and our $$s to make it happen.

One of the more amazing parts of this interview is when Smith openly conflates Trump's agenda with not only her own, but Poilievre's.

Happy National Flag Day! 60 years ago we raised our flag for the first time.
This flag stands for a place where everyone is welcome. Regardless of whether your family has been here thousands of years or whether you’ve just arrived, it’s a reminder that you belong here.
Four days it took her to say anything. And then she says … she will do nothing.
Not good enough. Her own office is implicated. The investigation can’t be delivered to the people being investigated. How dumb does she think Albertans are? /1
Amid new probe & turmoil at Alberta government/AHS, can't get this fact out of my head:
One man serves as CEO of Alberta's hospital super-agency, and he's also its one-man board of directors, and he still has his day job as deputy minister of Alberta Health. www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...
Danielle Smith's government allegedly fired the AHS CEO and the Board after they started looking into the legality of contracts for private surgeries that could enrich companies with strong ties to the UCP government and staff.
They did all of this with YOUR tax dollars.
This is shocking.

If you don't want Danielle Smith to sell our mountains and our water to Australian coal billionaires, who will blow their tops off and threaten it with contaminants... then you should go to this:

As he has said all along, President Trump has issued tariffs that will wreak havoc on the Canadian economy, attacking the single most important trade relationship Canadians have with the world.
These tariffs will have a devastating impact on our jobs, our economy, and our way of life. /1
This is a shameful day for the province.
We are spending billions on a line that no one will ride, and admitting that their elevated alignment is impossible and never will be built.
The citizens of Calgary-Lougheed deserve better.
Let’s get an Alberta NDP MLA elected there in 2027.
