Video games give you a dopamine spike, if you have lower levels like ADD etc. they can help you feel better at the cost of usually locking in. Of course mileage varies per game based on personal preference.

Now if only work had the same sort of reward system to help us out...

Lil Cactus has similar vibes I think! Legend of Mana was an old PS1 game that was one of my favorites back in the day. It had such a whimsy due to the way they colored and drew the game :)
