A frustrating loss last night for the Cavs (and a concerning win for the Pistons), but definitely a lot to take away from it.

I have made this comparison before. They’re tearing through the regular season and have some glaring holes that a good opposing coach will expose in a 7 game series.

Short handed Cavs now have lost two straight winnable games. Both in heart-breaking fashion.

I do have some deep worries about the Pistons come playoff time. Their lack of secondary playmaking and spacing is concerning.

The correct feeling for this Cavs game should be happiness that they’re toughing it out against the top team in the East without their two best players.

And somehow my feeling is annoyance because they should have won this game in regulation.

Been a very up and down last few seconds for Jaylon Tyson.

Schroeder has been awful tonight.

The good news is the Cavs are a deep team now thanks to the De’Andre Hunter trade and good health.

The bad news is they still lost a winnable game. But played hard without their 3 best players.

They’re definitely better with Sam at the 2, but Tyson has played 83% of his minutes at the 2 or 3 this season. I agree, he’s not a 4, and hopefully Kenny stays away from that.

I didn’t take Kenny’s comments as a slight, it’s the reality of the situation. Tyson played well in Garland’s absence, but the lineup has changed with Harden in the backcourt.

Cavs are in danger of being run out of the building. 11-0 run by Milwaukee has the Bucks up ten just three minutes into the second half.

More impactful, the Jaylon Tyson minutes have also not been good.

The Tomlin minutes have not been good tonight.

Somehow the Cavs got like 4 offensive rebounds, got a steal, and still scored zero points.

Deserved a ring in Cleveland in 2007, had they not blown a (gulp) 3-1 lead.

James Harden may be questionable tonight, but there is a zero percent chance he plays.

Cavs are seemingly shadow resting everyone anyway. Mitchell and Mobley are both out as well, so it’ll be up to the bench to take down the Giannis-less Bucks.

That’s a big win for the Cavs. Exorcised some demons of years past, dominated on defense, and don’t need Harden OR Mitchell to go nuclear.

Mitchell Robinson is still an issue for the Cavs. He’s unfazed by Jarrett Allen.

Hard to fully judge Mobley after missing so much time, but he’s very discouraging as a big. Two boards and not enough feel on offense.

Ah yes, another game where I’m reminded of how scared I am to trust Jarrett Allen or Evan Mobley in a playoff series.

Ultimately, it’s very hard to win a game when fall behind by 23 points in the first quarter and turn the ball over 10 times in the first 8 minutes.

Yeah the Thunder don’t have SGA or Jaylen Williams, but the Cavs’ issue has always been that they don’t get back up after being punched in the mouth.

Since the additions of James Harden, Keon Ellis, and Dennis Schroeder, they are fighting back.

Can someone give me a good reason why the Thunder have Jared McCain.
