Have you listened to Durazo speak? She’s a NIMBY true believer. As a County Supervisor, there won’t be any leadership to rein her in. She will be able to vote however she wants and I am very confident those votes will be against housing.

And it's not just public safety. This is true of basically every category of spending. Here's government administration. Why are Seattle, Portland, etc. able to keep these under control while we are not?

It's underdiscussed how spending has exploded in California in a way that it has not anywhere else in nearby states. Very hard to believe that we have a revenue problem when looking at these numbers.

I remember certain members of Left-Left-NIMBY Twitter enthusiastically retweeting this account a while back.

LA is a failed city. Free money but they have to give it back because they were incapable of spending it in a reasonable timeframe. There’s basically nothing the city can do right anymore.
