This is something you have to read. Good but didn’t like some of the ambiguity

Since streaming has killed TV, particularly the sitcom, I’m watching some old shows.

1. Married With Children
2. Dharma and Greg
3. Will and Grace
4. Spin city

All are enjoyable and even though some aspects of the shows feel ancient, these sitcoms are superior to most I’ve seen in recent years.

Next on the list is Narconomics: How to Run a Drug Cartel
by Tom Wainwright

Insightful book. Will add more details when I’ve finished it.

5. Wool
6. Shift
7. Dust

All by Hugh Howey. The incredible series, Silo, on Apple TV is based on these and I just had to read these after that season finale. Even though I have a lot of gripes with the latter 2 books, I still enjoyed reading and couldn’t put them down.

No kidding, probably the best show made in in the past few years.

If you haven’t seen Severance you absolutely should.

Season 2 starts next week. Start S1 now and you’ll be caught up by the time S2 drops.

3. Yellowface by R. F. Kuang.
Couldn’t stop reading. Hope this gets a movie.
4. How to Build a Car by Adrian Newey. Good read.

Not even close to being a wadera but definitely a burger who’s spent some time in that neck of the woods. Have practically met some of the characters and have had some of the same conversations.

Jumping on this discourse, my STEM education allows me to accomplish really important things, compared to this.

Just today, I spent 2 hours making sure that text animates to appear on a webpage when I click on an image. That, my friends, is truly groundbreaking stuff.

Might as well tweet(?) about the books I’ve read lately.

1. In Other Rooms, Other Wonders by Daniyal Mueenuddin. Very relatable book, really enjoyed it.
2. The Vegetarian by Han Kang, won the Nobel Prize, profoundly disturbing book.
