I don’t know why, I’ve just always enjoyed the rare actor AU fics like that. Or ones that make up things like press interviews about the show or bloopers. Just a fanfic guilty pleasure of mine I guess 😆

I also just love the idea of an actor AU where they all bond as a cast and have classic “tropes” like people playing the villains and anti hero’s (your Adams, Lutes, Alastor’s, etc) are actually the nicest people in the cast; etc.

Like they’re Hell’s version of a silver screen power couple of Hollywood legends, who love the new project they joined where they get to change it up and be antagonistic with each other for once. But off camera they’re like the chillest/nicest couple ever.

Am I the only one who likes the occasional Actor AU fanfic in a fandom? After the latest episode and after rewatching some old Hollywood musicals I just can’t get it out of my head, especially the idea of it being #RadioStatic focused.

I’m serious, it’s the best radiostatic fic I’ve ever read! I also loved A Gentle Touch and you have even convinced me to enjoy the two of them with Valentino (though I am way behind on that fic sadly 😢).

That’s so freaking exciting!! 😍 (also if I could fangirl for a hot second, you really are such a fantastic writer. I, no joke, re-read Addicted almost once a month 💕)

All I want for Christmas are…100+ #Radiostatic fix-it fics where Alastor & Vox talk out the misunderstanding from the night Vox pitched his idea & they become the loving Media Overlord power couple we deserve!! (Especially if it’s written by DancingDog and their absolutely god tier storytelling 😍🙏🏻)

He also hid his face at first which I think was him hiding reactions too strong for him to temporarily mask with his smile. TL;DR I think they both felt the same for each other but due to misunderstandings based on past experiences Alastor lashed out to protect himself & it led to their falling out.

So when Vox make his pitch for partnership, specifically calling out Alastor’s power, I think Al made the assumption that this was just another relationship that turned out to be someone using him. His facial expressions while he’s taking in Vox’s proposal read as sad/hurt/betrayed/ect. to me.

But based on all that we’ve been shown, Alastor has always had to fight alone for what he had in life and seems to have never had a true friend before (Mimzy just uses him for his power and Rosie was never actually a friend like we thought)

Before Vox said anything about a partnership in the flashback Alastor was relaxed, genuinely smiling, and comfortable with Vox touching him (the only man so far we’ve seen him be comfortable with).
