And for the louder, later shows, we’ve got our indoor stage now and we will make sure to leverage that. We’re not asking to be loud or disrespectful.
One of the reasons we chose this location was because it was safer/pandemic-proof.
Especially in the summer, the ability to host low-volume, early-evening shows outside is essential — for connection, for accessibility, and for the vibe that makes White Center feel alive.
Despite that, we have tried to be good neighbors and make it work for everyone. And let’s be honest: outdoor music is part of the magic. Just a few years ago, we were all dying to stand outside and listen to music.
This isn’t about attacking King County - a lot of county officials have shown support, and we are very grateful for that. Instead, we are hoping to shine a light on what’s happening because some unelected voices are pressuring county permitting and planning officials to crack down on TIM’s.
Update: we want to thank everyone for the outpouring of support. You’ve reminded us why TIM’s matters - not just as a business, but as a community space rooted in music, connection, and culture. Please watch this video from Mason - to clear the air about what we are trying to do and why.
