Trump lawyers have been making frivolous legal arguments they know won't hold up, violating court orders by the dozens, and ignoring basic ethics rules every attorney has to follow.

When are judges going to start using their powers to sanction them?

To those who stupidly claimed the WikiLeaks prosecution would never effect "real" journalists:

DOJ cited the WikiLeaks case in court as to why they should have been allowed to raid a Washington Post reporter's house without telling the judge about the Privacy Protection Act.

Really encourage everyone to read this very meticulous report. It describes the horrific and systematic torture of dozens of Palestinian journalists in Israeli jails.

Kudos to @jodieginsberg.bsky.social and the entire @pressfreedom.bsky.social team. It should be on the front page of every paper.

DHS has labeled leakers β€œa threat” to national security and is pushing to prosecute them.

Yet much of what the public knows about DHS and its agencies, like ICE, is thanks to whistleblowers.

Everyone's heard of the Don Lemon case, but there are a HUGE number of other instances of ICE violently infringing the rights of journalists in Minnesota. The last month has been particularly disturbing.

DHS Secretary says filming ICE is illegal and amounts to doxxing.

They’re absolutely wrong.

Recording law enforcement in public spaces is protected by the First Amendment β€” and courts have affirmed that right time and again.

Over and over and over again, courts have affirmed Americans have the right to record law enforcement in public spaces.

DHS claiming cell phone videos are "violence," "illegal," or "doxxing" is a direct assault to the First Amendment.
