doing my fave end-of-week task which is sending praising emails to the bosses of my support team, bc holy shit this week was something else

8 hours through night 7 and things are finally under control. I have 4 nights of notes and billing to catch up on

night 6 of 7 over in what is possibly one of the worst series of shifts i've had in years, to the point where the day team comes in and just looks sheepish as hell at the 3 of us expected to manage 20+ inpatients. i cannot wait to be done with this hospital for 2 weeks again jesus christ

thanks <3 comes with the territory but is always sad. was a very sweet dog we'd had hospitalised for over a week we all hoped was improving 😞

we beat the icu record last night with 8 patients, 1 in the high dependency unit, 1 in the incubator, 3 on oxygen and 2 seizuring. i am somewhat tired
