So... Seriously, who the hell is the Prelude hybrid for? There'd probably be a market for it if they gave it a slightly beefed-up version of the Civic Hybrid powertrain and a stick shift option, but - wait, they tried that already with the CR-Z, and nobody bought that

-The Prelude barely gets better fuel economy than a Ford Maverick hybrid, which is now available with AWD and 4,000 pounds of towing capacity all while STILL being cheaper than a Prelude
-If it's a sporty coupe, the Toyota GR 86 and Subaru BRZ are right there for the price of much less

-The Prius has almost the same power output, but gets much better fuel economy and is over $10k less
-The Camry (the new one is comparable because it's hybrid-only now) has *more* power, is more practical, and cheaper

I was looking at the new Honda Prelude because a part of me thought that this would be a cool little car to have to replace my GLI for whenever it gets too expensive to repair

Now, though, I'm just thinking... What kind of person is even the target market for this?
