I wanted video games to get MORE woke. I want Wario to wear a leather harness and for Luigi to date him. I want Lara Croft to get a safe, legal abortion. I want the next Resident Evil to have all the zombies be white nationalist cops.

Genuinely though, Veilguard was just what I needed with the state of the world rn. The aggressive owning of who you are, the learning and acceptance of yourself with the REFUSAL to let ANYONE take that shit from you...it really got to me. Finding friends and community in a world on fire...yeah.

Oh ESPECIALLY since he's got wings and he's a very purple character. I was a MaxRide kid, and my favorite color has always been purple. Every scene involving his wings got me hyped, I love good wing-based combat. And this shot. This shot is one I've always dreamed up with other winged characters.

He and a couple other guys I've gotten this year have made me want to get back into publicly self-shipping, but I know communities would hate to see me coming bc I'm uncomfortable sharing LMAO. But I'm obsessed with him, he's just so cute. Perfectly tailored guy for me 💙

I just adore him so much that I'm listening to jazz for a playlist for him. I'm debating on researching Italian music artists bc I know Treviso is the name of a real Italian city, and Antiva takes from both Italian and Spanish languages and whatnot. I almost cried during his romance.

Lucanis Dellamorte is my guy of the year I'm not even gonna lie. Every year there's characters I'll fall for, but there's always one that's gonna be THE guy of the year for me. He's part of why I hyperfixated so hard on Veilguard.

Dragon Age: Veilguard has been a very good time so far.
