3. I don't know shit 'bout nothin', but there has been a contingency of writers who have given me a few keys to the kingdom, and I'm beyond grateful.

2. Games journalists and critics are the hardiest and sturdiest and most resourceful set of creatives out there. As a group *and* as individuals. They don't know what "can't" means.

1. It is an impossible task to accurately and concisely encapsulate the entirety of the current landscape. This was a fool's errand.

I've spent about 45 days researching and preparing this expansive look at games media from an outsider freak's perspective, and I've really only learned three things thus far:

It's 3 for me, but I can totally see why it would be 2. That system rips in a different way. Damn now I wanna play 2 again.

And that's not even touching on the whole "eat the ruling class" part of Xenoblade 3's ethos. Plus it gives you the most fun class system since FF Tactics. Absolute perfection, no notes.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is *peak* societal critique and commentary. If you thought it was, what I've seen described as "popcorn anime bullshit"... I just can't connect with you. Xenoblade proves that everyone has worth. The fact that that's foundational knowledge some ppl lack is, like, super spooky.

There's something magical about seeing a #UFO50 game level fully compiled into one image. I love being able to see the intention behind entries in my overall favorite game of all time (tied with FFXIV). Very cool stuff!

I'll never pass up a chance to recommend Prodigal and its follow-up Veritus. More puzzle-focused, but holy moly what a pair of games. Incredibly deep and complex story and lore, satisfying puzzles, and combat that serves as a little seasoning mixed in. We wrote a review on it last year. Wild games.

This is a *wild* anecdote. I've never heard about that. Absolute chaos.
