This is a masterclass on how to effectively draw a cityscape in a small panel. It gives the reader all they need, & we're off to the next panel. Beautiful, effective, & Romita didn't kill himself unnecessarily drawing every window. This is how to do it.

A lesson *I* have yet to learn btw. Errg.

Someone named "Lux Imperii" quote-tweets me, adding: "Astonishing failure to grasp irony. “Imagine yourself shopping in a store staffed with sales associates like these” Indeed. Yes, what sorts of recommendations might these gentlemen make? What views might they express? What values might they have? What tastes? Wild."

It's funny to see people imbue traditional men's tailoring with their own prejudices. They assume every man who wore a suit in the far past must have been a staunch conservative like them. The truth is much more complicated. 🧵
