helios has always had amazing writing, and the amount of people talking about a single 1:30 mins trailer is the proof of it. this had been a long time coming and i can't wait honestly, they've been hinting at this since the literal start of the game and it's going to be such a good read i'm sure

the oscar/brad union event? and will he try to get him back, like akira, marion and ren fought for gast because they believed in him, or will he just stop him and keep up his righteous, serious facade? it's a very important and interesting direction and i want to see what happens.

what's sure is that this is the second time brad cant save a loved one, and even when he lost dino, he lied to save keith's sanity while he knew the truth, and was the first one to go fight against him for "the greater good". will he do the same with oscar or not, especially given what happened in +

brad is the other interesting facet of this-- he's the one who welcomed him to the beams household, and oscar was thankful to him all this time, but was it sirius pushing him to, or was it his own choice? and did he know who he was and tried to protect him in some way in all these years?

is this oscar the hero, oscar the friend shin loved or oscar the chess piece sirius needed? all three? none of them? it's so complicated and fucked up, but shin doesn't care, he's desperate and will get ANYTHING as long as he gets oscar back. and in all this, brad will have to deal with losing him.

and especially about shin-- there is a lot we don't know. we just know he has a complicated relationship with the concept of family and hates christmas and religion. by what the trailer tells, it's very likely that it's all linked to oscar and we'll find out so much more about him AND oscar.

i think the reason why this helios link story will hit so much is because it talks about so many things that have been in the game since the start. the murder of ren's family, oscar's backstory and his relationship to shin, what exactly has been going on with brad for a long while... there is a lot.
