Texas: ICE arrest rates in Texas nearly doubled, from approximately 58 to 110 per 100,000 residents, between early and late 2025.

Violations & Conditions: Reports indicate that many facility deaths were associated with violations of ICE's own medical standards. Reports of horrific, unsanitary, and abusive conditions have also surfaced.

Children: At least 3,800 children were detained between mid-January 2025 and February 2026, with over 600 of these being separated from parents.

Detention Length: Over 7,200 people were held for at least six months as of mid-January 2026, with some held for over two years.
