Price is the issue when manufacturing in bulk though. If the manufacturer can get a part for cheaper in bulk from a local supplier to save on shipping costs, and customers will still buy it, they're going with that option. DIY doesn't have to worry about a steady long term and cheap supply chain.

I hope people don't see you differently because you like a product and are putting food on the from it. Like you'll never please everybody, but I think most people can understand that if you don't have several income streams, you can't jump ship in an instant just because of breaking news drama.

Again, This is the first I'm learning of it. Maybe I'm missing something too.

Like it's feels like a "Why NOW? Why not last year? Why not before that? What makes THIS particular set of statements worse than the others?" situation, which is now a damned if you do/damned if you don't for them.

This has been going on for at least a year now, and it feels like either: Advanced GG didn't know the topics of his videos nor reviewed ad reads and just found out; it became personal after the CEOs brother encountered ICE; or it's just for optics. I think that's why there's so much backlash

While I don't think Rev's rhetoric was necessarily sponsor dropping worthy until a year or so ago (people are allowed to have bad takes about gaming and streamers and it not necessarily condoned by a sponsor) this proof-texting "Christian" arc was a big increase in bad faith behaviour.

This is how I found out about it and I had to look it up so I may have some facts wrong. As someone used to follow Rev when I was on Twitter (I followed voices of all angles of the political spectrum to stay informed how others think, not because I like them) this was overdue.

I'm in a bad situation and need help.
