Like I said I won't be around to continue chatting; I'm a brown HIV responder/trans healthcare worker in a state hostile to me, and on the roster of Bad Things that happened to me this is sadly nowhere near the worst. However I encourage screenshot evidence of the figures named in the medium post.

I'm deeply disappointed that Jay's trend of misrepresenting us and seemingly relying on latent racism to do so continues. If the article shows Jay icing out ex-friends and contractors with a lawyer in a bad light, it's bc that's not a good look with the image she's provided up til now.

Re: the 2/9/26 Medium post by Dragon detailing her perspective. I + others await (but do not expect) screenshots to match her claims, as it came as a great surprise to Lillie and I that we'd asked for 25k and then 60k. Our email history can't prove it but the year is young.

I haven't read the Medium post and don't intend to. I found out when Chase emailed, and all I know is Dragon gave no evidence of her claims. It's disappointing and unsurprising; Dragon has already misrepresented several things up to this point. I am not shocked that that pattern continues.

We have furnished Rascal News with the appropriate screenshots to refute and in one case, contextualize, the claims made by Dragon in her (now edited) Medium post accounting the dispute from her perspective. See communications below.

White trans women love this defense more than anything. Me and the other QTPOC on the team who got fucked over + the one white trans person can't possibly be real people with our own trials and struggles, just agents of hatred levied at innocent young Jay Dragon for a malignant but unclear reason.

Isn't it ironic that for this take to work the white trans woman has to rob the brown trans woman quoted in the article (me, Mercedes Acosta) of her personhood? Now what does that sound like?

I've been to Gaza as a volunteer medic more than once, caring for sick elder, started nursing school, buried friends to ODs, changed religions, n completely shifted careers since Yazeba's released and somehow none of that was as disheartening as knowing Jay/et al is the norm and not the exception.

we have suffered + had our own lives be put on hold trying to resolve this (me alone, I'm in nursing school, I care for a sick elder + recovering physically/mentally from doing medical missions in Gaza with Doctors W/O Borders) and this article is giving us a fraction of the vindication we deserve.

Jay treated me n everyone else involved like hangers-on while using our ethnicity + marginalizations to boost her clout, and when it was time to get the money she lied to us, sicced lawyers on us, and refused all communication while flying off to the art commune her dad owns in Columbia
