This is a remarkable time for observant people: today is the 1st of Ramadan, and also Ash Wednesday. Yesterday was the Lunar New Year, and also Rosh Chodesh Adar for Jews. It is unusual for so many of these to line up so precisely.

We then sow by hand where there are gaps

This is the reward

The taproots have already anchored the seeds, so now the first leaf shoots have broken ground
