So even if I really enjoy this book, some things could have been better (worldbuilding, pacing..ect)
I would still recomand it to people want to read about a beautiful love story (seriously the love letter made me tear up).
And I'm really excited to read book two !

The thing that bugged me the most was the lack of worldbuilding, yeah we know surface level info about the gods and where they are but not anything else, and in a fantasy even if it's not the main focus it still matter to imerse yourself in a world.

In time of war love happen fast and is rush because of the fear of not having enough time.
I also loved the secondary character, Marisol and Attie prove that all type of love matter and not only romantic one, and I found their friendship and care for eachother really sweet.

I really enjoy reading it, I think the story was beautiful and I found myself very attached to the character, Iris and Roman relationship felt real
