Das würde an der Definition ab wann etwas eine Bergtour ist scheitern.

... von 10 Minuten Recherche erkennen, dass normales Skibergsteigen was ganz Anderes ist. Das Wort "Skibergsteigen" im Kontext der olympischen Spiele hat keine Auswirkungen auf das Bild.

Es ist halt die olympische Variante eines Wettkampfes der regelmäßig (aber nicht immer) auch im hochalpinen Gelände stattfinded. Z.B. www.belleetoileski.fr

I don't remember in detail but I think the brooms seemed a bit short. Hard to say at such a low skill level if being tall was a challenge. It is a big challenge when it comes to rock climbing. Long levers, holds relatively small.
