I totally agree. Having got to a few HD gigs I always feel mildly let down by their album sound.

The same thing applies to Spot’s production of Black Flag - a band who repeatedly punched you in the face live, but sound thinner than the thinnest bassless thing on record.

In #winter 2018, Icelandic photographer Rebekka Guðleifsdóttir wanted to show her partner, who was away in the capital, how much it had snowed overnight at their home and posted a photo of herself on FB #womensart

From thursday to monday i recorded two chases in elstree, hosted an awards night in coventry, and a pub quiz in warrington and did six stand up gigs in Liverpool.

I came out on top in all ten. Thank you medication, husband, snd those bookers who can see past iillness and disablity.

I’m sort of jealous Grace. All we’ve had here recently is perpetual rain and dark gloomy clouds.

The later ‘WHT’ series are brilliant too, but the early stuff is peak in my opinion! Sadly much of it was wiped by the BBC years ago. 🙁

For reasons now long forgotten, it’s a pre-Xmas tradition in this household to binge watch The Likely Lads each December.

Superb writing by Dick Clement & Ian La Frenais. Humour and melancholia in equal measure.

Fabulous Blue Aeroplanes show at the Fleece tonight. Their gigs are few and far between so we should treasure them when they happen.

New album next year and new songs (5!) sounded fantastic tonight.

I used to get to every BA Fleece Xmas gig until 2023 but sadly too old and arthritic nowadays. I’ve caught them live as often as possible since ‘82

I’ve seen hundreds of bands and they are in my top 5 live acts - always an event! 👌

My score is usually in the high 80s/low 90s but I’ve never managed the exalted height of 99! 👏

The Re-Mit LP was great but the later Remainderer EP blew it away. Mr Rode is a glam stomper up to the "lemon freshness" bit where it shoots off in a blaze of sonic madness. A thrilling song esp the CD mix. 🖤
