Labour’s stance on Europe is as untenable as their tax pledge. In order to achieve the growth this country desperately needs, Labour must now advocate & work towards rejoining the SM & CU.

This is a clever letter from the Lib Dems, challenging other party leaders to say whether they support the BBC or Trump. For the Tories in particular there is a real risk their inherent anti BBC-ness makes them look like they endorse Trump’s fairly deranged comments about the BBC.

We flounced out of the EU on the say-so of politicians who lied to us. And what a total shitshow that’s turned out to be. The polar opposite of what they promised. Now the call to flounce out of the ECHR. By the same people. Telling the same lies. Has the country been kicked in the head by a horse?

Of course, these trade deals with Australia, NZ, Japan, India and whatever it is with the US… are not ‘Brexit benefits’. They’re ‘Brexit damage limitation’ or ‘Brexit desperation’.
Tiny percentage points of growth battling the enormous cost of huffing out of our huge and prosperous local EU market.

I’ve been accused of being a conspiracy theorist because I insist that the BBC had everything to do with the rise of Farage & his Reform party.
This chart just focussing on BBC Question Time (2010-2020) shows there was bias towards the platforming of anti-EU MEPS especially Farage.
I rest my case.
