Considering what happened in Chapter 1, I don't think that's how this works.

A tilt was sanded into the heel of the neck in order to get the correct height off the top of the body for the tune o matic bridge.

Neck and body joint was refined and made slip tight via veneer on the neck pocket sidewalls, now all taped off to ensure no glue got where it shouldnt be.

Three clamps and some Titebond II, setting the neck into place.

The completed guitar with neck set in, ready for further wood working refinement. Also the guitar cut me and there's a bit of blood right above the bridge pickup cavity. May or may not have oopsies around the high e bridge stud hole trying to drill a ground wire hole.

Over the past weekend I received nearly all of the hardware and electronics and spent a few hours getting the neck angle and fit just right and glued it, left it for a day and now it's one piece. Also Alt Text go brrr.

The Music Man Website advising that a specific OEM three way switch cannot be installed into their import line guitars. The user says otherwise.

The switch installed without any further modification... the routing on the left was done by the previous owner who had put in a different switch that did not fit in the cavity.

Company: "This part isn't meant for our import line."
Me: "You sure about that?"

And no, the routing after the fact was done by whoever owned this Sterling JP-150 DiMarzio before me... absolutely find it silly when companies willingly offer the part but legal says they have to add text like this.
