I don't like reading my own stuff after I'm done with it, but for now I think I'm hitting a very fine line of forgetting what I've written, enough to still think it's okay, but not so long that my writing has changed and old stuff looks bad.
Idk it makes sense in my head ahaha

Went back to chapter 15 to remember a specific moment, ended up reading the whole thing, and it's now one of my favorites. It's a long, fanfic version of my thoughts on why Xiao needs to stay alive, and why I'll always be mad when people say he should have died at the end of Perilous Trail.

I think you should force yourself to interact with art that's "bad" every so often. read a cringy fanfic. play a tiny game. watch a subpar movie. see an amateur play. experience art that's not "masterpieces" because "bad" art deserves to exist and can sometimes give you more emotion than "good" art
