You have clearly not read the War Powers Act, Mike. Everything you've written is totally wrong.

The War Powers Act SPECIFICALLY PROHIBITS military action unless: a/ there is a prior congressional authorization; or b/ it's a response to an attack against the U.S.

I am following with deep concern what is happening in the Middle East and in Iran during this tumultuous time. Stability and peace are not achieved through mutual threats, nor through the use of weapons, which sow destruction, suffering, and death, but only through reasonable, sincere, and responsible dialogue.

Faced with the possibility of a tragedy of immense proportions, I make a heartfelt appeal to all the parties involved to assume the moral responsibility of halting the spiral of violence before it becomes an unbridgeable chasm. May diplomacy regain its proper role, and may the well-being of peoples, who yearn for peaceful existence founded on justice, be upheld. And let us continue to pray for peace.

The attack and killing of Iran’s supreme leader is a grave violation of Iran’s sovereignty and security. It tramples on the purposes and principles of the UN Charter and basic norms in international relations. China firmly opposes and strongly condemns it.

We urge for an immediate stop to the military operations, no further escalation of the tense situation and joint effort to maintain peace and stability in the Middle East and the world at large.

Listen this is some next level trolling.

It’s not just that Charlie Kirk is up there. It’s who he’s with.

Catherine Beecher, while an advocate for women’s education, also fiercely opposed women’s suffrage and wanted women’s political power to be mostly constrained to their role as mothers.

A mad king’s illegal war on Iran is a cry for regime change...in Washington | Will Bunch Democracy really did die in darkness as Donald Trump’s unconstitutional war on Iran stamps America as a dictatorship.

My instant reaction at 3 a.m. yesterday was not whether Khamenei would be killed or oil prices or anything else but this

This undeclared, unexplained war is illegal. Full stop

28 hours later, it is still the worse abuse of power in U.S. history. Impeach

How fast could the Iran strikes hit your local gas prices?
Oil markets resume Monday.
By late afternoon, wholesale (rack) prices adjust.
Stations buying after ~6pm local may pay what markets assess.
Some pumps could start moving Monday night, others within 24–48 hours.

β€œEight months ago, Donald Trump lied to the country when he claimed U.S. air strikes had β€˜obliterated’ Iran’s nuclear program.

β€œNow Trump says he’s taken America to war for regime change in Iran.

β€œTrump has launched this regime change war and put American forces at risk without presenting evidence of an imminent threat, without clear objectives, without having exhausted diplomacy, without a plan for the aftermath, and without the consent of Congress.

β€œI oppose yet another regime change war-of-choice in the Middle East. Congress must convene immediately and pass a War Powers Resolution to assert our Constitutional authority over war and peace.

Iran’s support for terrorism and uranium enrichment have long destabilized the region. But sending American forces into harm’s way should only ever be a last resort.
