Happy forest ferns lean into the surrounding moss covered woods. There's not much light today but no matter, the forest glows with breath & internal light. Endless, it seems....as far as the eye can see. There is no competition, no ego, no dominance. Hard to believe this is everyday for these ancient trees...ah, to be a tree in the woods, untouched by man, breathing

Sometimes I stop in the middle of the middle
Peace lives there
Birds singing, joyfully happy to be alive
Squirrels teasing each other, such rascals
The air is sweet
Troubles that haunt each day fade to nothing
