As I said about their attempt to use the horrendous terror attack on our Jewish community as a pretext for authoritarian actions: "Do not use the suffering of our residents as your excuse to dismantle our democracy."

Today thousands of us came together in downtown Boulder to say with one voice, the United States has No Kings! The energy of the crowd was strong as we pushed back against the illegal and immoral acts of the Trump Administration.

Know that the Jewish community has my full support, and the support of the entire Boulder community.

As the mayor of the city of Boulder, I want to be clear that violence and hatred have no place here. Attacks like these seek to strike terror in people's hearts and divide us from one another, but Boulder will stand strong together.

I'm confident that working with our law enforcement partners we will be able to ensure that a full investigation is made and justice will be served.

I'm very grateful to the first responders for their swift arrival on the scene, their medical aid to the victims, and for taking the suspect into custody so quickly.

I am saddened and outraged at the appalling attack on members of Boulder's Jewish community that happened today during a peaceful gathering on Pearl Street. My heart goes out to the victims and their families and all who were impacted by this tragic incident.

Colorado’s top court rejects Big Oil’s arguments | Center for Climate Integrity A major ruling from the Colorado Supreme Court will allow the City and County of Boulder to move forward and ultimately put Exxon on trial for its climate deception.

We protested today at NIST and NOAA about all the illegal, unethical, and just downright foolish actions the administration is taking. So inspiring to see thousands of people coming together on May Day to support Federal workers, unions, trans rights, and everyone that's suffering right now!

It was a truly extraordinary team effort.

Yesterday was a dream come true as the Sundance Film Festival announced it is moving to Boulder!!! Starting in 2027 the storied showcase for independent films will have the Flatirons for its backdrop, and for ten days Boulder will be at the heart of American moviedom. What an incredible honor!

I enjoyed a wintry walk on Saturday with the Boulder Ramblers and their fearless leader Darcy as part of Winter Bike and Walk week! It was a delightful outing despite the cold, and the fresh falling snow made for a truly memorable and beautiful experience. It's always a good day for a walk!
